I'm the face behind NorthHouse Photography, a Twin Cities family and wedding photographer based in Oakdale, MN.
I started NorthHouse in 2019 after the birth of my daughter, inspired by how quickly the little moments become the ones you wish you could go back to.
That's still what I love most about photography.
My approach is relaxed and gently directed. You don't need to know how to pose, your kids don't need to behave perfectly, and your wedding doesn't need to be one long photoshoot.
A Little more about me
I've always been the person who wants to hold onto the moments - the big ones, of course, but especially the ordinary ones you don't realize are important until they're gone.
And that's what I'm looking for every time I pick up my camera.
The way they laugh. The way you love. The way it felt.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband, Brian, our two kids, Adelia and Declan, and our dogs, Luna and Bluey.
We're based in Oakdale, Minnesota, and I photograph families and weddings throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.
And yes - your dog is absolutely welcome at your session. Around here, they're family too.
